The Center for Gender and Child Studies (PSGA)
The Center for Gender and Child Studies (PSGA) under the Research and Community Service Institute (LP2M) of IAIN Parepare, led by Nur Afiah, MA, is committed to becoming a leading center in the research and development of gender and child issues. With a vision to actively contribute to the empowerment of society based on Islamic values and local wisdom, PSGA undertakes various strategic missions. These include conducting comprehensive research, developing policies that support gender equality and child protection, and initiating community empowerment programs. PSGA's focus encompasses education and training to raise awareness and capacity among the community, health campaigns, business mentoring, access to healthcare services, and legal consultations for women and children, as well as policy advocacy at various levels. PSGA also forms strategic partnerships with various stakeholders to expand the impact of its programs. Through these efforts, PSGA aims to improve the quality of life for women and children and build a more inclusive and empowered community.

Conduct Research
Undertake in-depth and comprehensive research on gender and children's issues across various aspects of life at local, national, and international levels.
Policy Development
Formulate and develop policies that support gender equality and child protection, and advocate for their implementation in society.
Community Empowerment
Initiate and implement community empowerment programs focused on improving the quality of life for women and children
Collaboration and Partnerships
Establish collaborations with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions to support PSGA's objectives.
